Well, I've now been officially awake for quite a while. Hours before either my sleeping girlfriend, or our out-of-town guest, who has burrowed into our couch. I'm up early, so that I have a chance of snagging one of the few operable washing machines in this building. Out of 5 washers and 5 dryers, it appears upon my sleepy inspection that maybe 2 washers are working, and maybe 1 dryer. The rest have been vandalized by the power-chord, power-tool Pratt alumni that occupy this corner of Bushwick. Highly frustrating. After nearly 4 months here, I've come to realize that it's best just to wake up at 7:00, smoke a bowl and start sorting.
