Most Expensive Coat

Label Coat

Nearly six years ago, I started collecting labels torn out of high-end clothes (both purchased and not). The whole time, envisioning something that inevitably would have paled in comparison to what Silke Wawro has achieved with her 759,987.20 Euro coat.

For the record, I accumulated an unsatisfying dozen-or-so labels, which reside to this day in my sewing box. Thus, I'm happy to hear that somebody executed this idea with the consideration it deserved. Perhaps shopping and creating aren't always so dichotomous after all.
