My sister and I either begged or stole this off our older cousin when we were kids. Ever since it's bounced between us (my brother somehow got in on the action). In my possession currently, I slept on it on Lost Lake.

It's very Wes Anderson. But maybe all nostalgic things are to the hipsters of my generation...

Somehow you seem to end up with the goods. Do you also have all the Little Miss and Mr Books? I'd love to see them again.

Looked at this one a little closer. WTF? Looks like I'm casting some adhesive spell.

What's hipster? The stache? I don't wear it ironically. I view it as a fact, nothing more.

I mean, I'm a hipster by most definitions. But it aint cause of my hairs.

One day I'm gonna get all Jeff Koons and have a chain gang of MFAs oil painting the one's like these. They kinda deserve the shine of lacquer.

Blogger Mick thought:

From the earliest days of Pentax SLR I've liked scenics...the top one of the lake is really to my liking.

We need a place here that you can enjoy as much...in the same ways.

Yeah, the way the weather hits the lake is always amazing. We watched sheets of rain walk across the surface toward us this past weekend.

Can't wait for a compound in WV.

XOXO,

We decided to paint. Yup we took them down. Since they were down we went spectrum. She suggested it actually.

Wonder whether it's propagating now (it hit Domino apparently) cause people just don't give a fuck about easy access to books anymore--they have their search. We could have rainbow-ordered our home shelves at any point in modern history, but we didn't. What's different?

Blogger rabsteen thought:

love it. i could stare at bookshelves for hours.

I've been off that business-travel jag (what killed my internetness) for a couple weeks now. So I don't know which flight I nicked this one from--to Miami maybe.

A friend from school not sure which one, Dave Reich maybe, showed me how to fold the towers into a twenty less than a week after they fell. A real world meme I was sure you'd seen. But people tell me all the time, "never seen it".

Bill spent most of 2001-2002 showing this move to anyone who'd (and he could make) listen. June Sale made him stop because, as with many things, he was indiscriminate about his audience.

Glad you're back.
