Exhausted

Yesterday, I received a bill from ConEd that was so high I nearly had my first panic attack in many months. So, foolishly I spent the evening in near darkness and went to bed sans heat. I just awoke, having pulled on a wool sweater and pants sometime since I settled in, to get a sip of water. Now I'm back in bed, the covers over my head, hoping the heat from my laptop and the heat of my breath will warm this private cavity.
