Framed Flags
Years ago, concurrent with my first match burro, this quick series sprung from my plastic book of negs. It fulfilled a requirement of one kind or another, though likely barely. Both of the photography classes I took were surprisingly traditional in their approach to subject and technique, and as per my undergraduate MO, I preferred a more punk rock approach.
In preparing for this darkroom session, I made several chipboard jigs, some inkjet transparencies, and purchased the forbidden: RC paper. Multiple exposures, heavy on the magenta, produced each composite. With printmaker's habits I worked quickly, printing every sheet in the box.
